Snipes Sentenced: 3 Years

The judge sentenced actor/director Wesley Snipes to three years in prison for tax evasion. The prosecutors claimed he owed 2.7 million in back taxes. Three years is the maximum punishment allowed, and he will not be getting off early for good behavior: federal inmates aren’t eligible for parole.
